Pesticide media blitz

A nation-wide campaign aimed at eliminating banned pesticides will begin in all 24 provinces of Cambodia on Monday. The week-long media blitz will emphasise the dangers associated with toxic pesticides and highlight the importance of proper management for chemical fertilisers using television broadcasts, posters and pocketbooks. The campaign is being led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. KENNETH INGRAM
