Cambodia claimed second place at the 10th Asian Petanque Championship which ended

on October 30 in Hanoi. Thailand finished first with five gold medals.

Cambodia won one gold, three silver, and three bronze medals. Host Vietnam finished

third.

The five-day tournament drew 180 players from 14 Asian countries and territories.

Petanque, or boules, is an outdoor bowling game with metal balls.
