Police bust fake whisky factory

Police have raided an illegal factory in the capital’s Russey Keo district that is suspected of producing fake bottles of Johnnie Walker red- and black-label whisky, according to Phnom Penh Deputy Police Chief Pen Roth. In the Tuesday bust, police seized bottles, boxes, stamps and equipment. Police executed a search warrant on the house after the Municipal Court received complaints that there may have been violations of intellectual property rights.
