Two Siem Reap police officers were questioned by the provincial court yesterday after a man filed a complaint against them for allegedly beating and shocking him unconsciousness earlier this month. Uth Thin, 29, claims he was beaten, kicked and shocked at least six times after a wedding party in Kok Raing village of Puok district’s Muk Pen commune. District Police Chief Phoeung Phon said that the two officers could not meet his demands for 10 million riel (US$2,498) in compensation.
