T HE alleged leader of the abortive July coup attempt Prince Norodom Chakrapong flew to exile in France on Aug 7, according to the Bangkok Post.
The Prince arrived in Thailand on Aug 4 from Malaysia where he was allowed to flee after the intervention of King Norodom Sihanouk and Queen Monique.
Reuters quoted Cambodian Embassy sources in Bangkok as saying that the Prince had obtained French travel documents and had been granted asylum.
