Provincial policeman arrested over drug use

A 28-year-old provincial police officer and two women were arrested for drug abuse in a guesthouse in Siem Reap town on Tuesday by district police. Orng Monineath, 17, Taravong Phoungkaket, 19, and Peng Kipo, 28, a provincial police officer were arrested in a guesthouse in Siem Reap town while allegedly smoking methamphetamine on Tuesday, interim police chief of Siem Reap town Son San said yesterday. “We arrested them and sent them to the provincial police station to take legal action because we confiscated drugs and materials for smoking drugs.”
