Phnom Penh International Airport's runway is getting wider. Construction started
on December 1 and is expected to finish by the end of May. The 40-meter runway is
being widened to 45 meters to meet International Civil Aviation Organization standards,
and enable wide-body aircraft-the B747, A340, and A330-to land.
