UNICEF will convene a workshop on the strengthening of District Health Services

in Cambodia from Dec. 6-10 at the Cambodiana Hotel.

The workshop aims to cover health system trends in transition, the process of revitalizing

basic health services, training for health technicians.

Dr Chhea Thang, Minister of Health, will inaugurate the opening session followed

by talks on: "Cambodia's Public Health System"; "The Present Macro-economic

Situation in Cambodia and Future Prospects"; and "Communities in Cambodia".
