Twenty foreign nationals caught in a raid on a so-called 'boiler room' operation
in Phnom Penh were expelled from the country on July 19. The men, most of them UK
nationals, were arrested by police four days earlier at their recently established
business in the capital. They were accused of using the internet to make international
calls, which cost the government thousands of dollars in revenue.
