Seven face court in Poipet drug case

Banteay Meanchey Provincial Court yesterday charged seven people with drug trafficking after their arrest earlier this week. Chan Kosal, deputy chief of provincial police, said the suspects were arrested on Wednesday during a police raid on three residences in Paleylay village in Poipet town. Um Sophal, chief of Poipet district police, said authorities confiscated 21 packages of methamphetamine, drug scales and other related paraphernalia from the three homes
