A series of Khmer-language billboards proclaiming the coming “Day of Judgment” on May 21 and posted by an evangelical Christian group were ordered to be taken down immediately by Information Minister Khieu Kanharith yesterday. In a letter to Phnom Penh and provincial authorities, the Information Minister said the apocalyptic prophecies of Family Radio would “strongly confuse the public”.
