Smuggling opposed

National Assembly President Heng Samrin voiced support for a government crackdown on illegal smuggling operations in the name of economic growth.

The government should take firm measures against smuggling of cars, rubber and other goods to increase the state revenue through imposing proper taxation, he said on December 13.
