Solar batteries in demand at Preah Vihear

A village near Preah Vihear temple has been given solar charged batteries that will benefit roughly 100 families, authorities said. Yong Huot, chief of the commune that has received the batteries, which were provided by the NGO Oxfam GB and are expected to nearly halve energy bills, said roughly 1,000 more families were asking for them.
