(SRP) parliamentarians have written to Bernard Accoyer, president of

the  French National Assembly, asking him to release documents relating

to the 1949 agreement handing Cambodia's southern territories - also

known as Kampuchea Krom - to Vietnam. "Since Vietnam has colonised the

Kampuchea Krom territories, the Vietnamese government has ... abused

the human rights and religious freedoms of Khmer Kampuchea Krom

citizens, who are the owners of the territory," the SRP said in the

June 25 letter.
