Stronger development of cultural offerings could lead to greater economic growth and poverty reduction, Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An said during a conference on the national “Cultural Policy and Strategic Plan” on Tuesday. Men Sam An also said the promotion of Cambodian culture could bolster international tourism. “In addition, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport must pay attention to educating students in a culture of morality,” she said, “because it is lapses in cultures that allow young people to fall into crime.”
