A group of 27 Cambodian

high school students went to Japan

for ten days on March 10 under a new Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for

Students and Youths program. The program’s goal is to send East Asian students

to Japan

and to send Japanese students to East Asian countries. The program is based on a

five-year exchange program plan announced by former Japanese Prime Minister

Shinzo Abe to send 6,000 students abroad.
