The Canadian Ambassador to Cambodia, Stephanie Beck, told Prime Minister Hun Sen

on August 29 that the Canadian government will end trade tariffs on all exports from

Cambodia to Canada. The Prime Minister's spokesman, Eang Sophalleth, told reporters

the new customs regime would begin in January 2003.
