The president of the Cambodian Independent Teachers’ Association said the group can continue its activities after receiving funding for a British teachers’ association. Rong Chhun said that the UK association had provided US$2 million to help fund CITA as part of a one-year project. He had said in April that the association was under threat due to a lack of funds.
