The number of tourists recently visiting Cambodia from Middle Eastern and African

nations has surged, according to a report by the Pacific Asia Travel Association

(PATA).

Their "First Quarter 2005 Quarterly Statistical Report" found a dramatic

growth spurt in traffic from the Middle East and Africa (arrivals up be 415 percent),

Spain (up 118 percent) and Russia (up 106 percent).
