In response to an open letter to UNTAC Chief Yasushi Akashi protesting sexual harassment

by UNTAC personnel, Ms. Hiroko Miyamura was appointed on Oct. 12 as UNTAC's Community

Relations Officer. Miyamura will investigate sexual harassment complaints and provide

information about sexually transmitted diseases. Her office is located at UNTAC Human

Rights Division, No. 102 Tousamuth Blvd.
