A N INTERNATIONAL United States' charity has donated $993,000 to Cambodia to set up two factories to produce canned fruits and meat, Reasmei Kampuchea newspaper quoted a senior Agriculture Ministry official as saying.
May Samoeun, Under Secretary of State for the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery, said the factories would be of great use to Cambodia because of its abundance of pineapples, corn, beans, potatoes and other foods.
