US national charged with sex, drug crimes

American national Robert Hardy, 49, arrested earlier this month in Preah Sihanouk province on suspicion of sexually abusing two Cambodian boys has been charged with purchasing child prostitution and possessing illegal drugs. Chor Heng, vice chief of the Sihanoukville police, said a laptop, two packages of marijuana and what was described as liquid sexual aids were seized during a raid on Hardy’s rented house in Mittapheap district, and that he was in the provincial prison awaiting trial.
