Vietnam donates IT equipment

Vietnamese officials have donated information technology equipment worth US$30 million to the Cambodian National Assembly, officials announced Wednesday. The equipment, including computers, printers and servers, was delivered by a Vietnamese delegation during a visit that included a meeting with National Assembly President Heng Samrin, said Koam Kosal, Heng Samrin’s cabinet director. The donation follows an October 2009 visit by a Cambodian delegation to Vietnam to study information technology infrastructure there, Koam Kosal said.
