The southern province of An Giang in Vietnam tripled the volume of electricity

sold to Cambodia to 120,000 kW in December 2005, only eight months after the

service began. Last year An Giang began selling electricity to Cambodia's Takeo

Province. It plans to extend supply to include Kandal province by August

2006.
