Rights group Adhoc will today submit a Joint Civil Complaint to the Kampong Chhnang Provincial Court for 50 families embroiled in a land dispute in Kampong Tralach district’s Tacheh commune. The 50 families from Lor Peang village have tried several times to take their land dispute with Chumteav Chea Kheng, director of KDC International Co, to the provincial court without success since it first flared up in 2009. In a press release yesterday, Adhoc claimed the provincial court had repeatedly derailed the case. Judicial officers from Kampong Chhnang could not be reached for comment yesterday.
