Eighty-eight families in Kampong Speu’s Phnom Touch commune are threatening to kill officials and themselves if a court-ordered eviction proceeds today. The villagers say they have been living on the more than 26 hectares of disputed land since 1979. But Taiwanese businessman Kuo Sheng, who was granted citizenship in 2001, also claims the land.
