Volunteers gather in their hundreds

MORE than 600 people participated in Cambodia’s first-ever forum on volunteerism at the National Institute of Education in Phnom Penh yesterday.

The forum, a joint effort between NGOs and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, coincided with both the tenth anniversary of the International Year of Volunteerism. Education, Youth and Sport Minister Im Sethy and United Nations Resident Coordinator Anne Lemaistre attended the event.
