WildAid praises crime enforcement

The court handed down one of the strictest sentences to date for smuggling endangered

wildlife to a woman in Kampong Speu on October 9. Young Ry, 42 was arrested by police

in August for transporting two severed bear claws, reported the wildlife NGO, WildAid.

The judge sentenced Ry to one year in prison and five years probation.
