Woman arrested for running down officers

TRAFFIC police arrested a 25-year-old woman after she reportedly killed one military police officer and seriously injured another while driving recklessly in Chamkarmorn district on Monday evening. “After she crashed into the two military police officers ... she escaped with her modern car, but the traffic police went to catch her immediately,” said Heng Chantheary, head of the municipal traffic police. He said the woman’s case has been sent to Phnom Penh Municipal Court, which will decide whether to lay charges.
