A 20-year-old woman was rushed to hospital on Wednesday after drinking two litres of pesticide in a suicide attempt, authorities said. The woman was treated at Pailin province’s referral hospital and was recovering yesterday, O’Tavao district Kbal Brolen village chief Sin Chey said. “She was angry with her husband, so she drank the pesticide,” he said, adding that she was seriously injured and would take a long time to fully recover.
