One woman was killed and nine others injured when lightning struck a group of workers at a cassava plantation owned by Pheapimex in Pursat province’s Krakor district on Sunday. Em Sarun, Krakor district deputy police chief said yesterday 43-year-old Sam Sambok was killed instantly when lightning struck in Ansar Chambak commune during a light shower. He said the others, three with serious injuries, were rushed to an on-site company clinic with skin burns but were in stable condition yesterday.
