A construction worker and a horse-cart driver were given 10-month jail sentences at Phnom Penh Municipal Court yesterday after being caught smoking yama in Phnom Penh’s New World City development. Sun Chantha, 28, and Leap Senghong, 25, were charged on February 22 after police caught them in Dangkor district’s Choam Chao commune. Police confiscated 15 amphetamine pills from them. The pair were also fined one million riel (around US$250) each.
