Noodles ruse adds to oodles of moto abuse

In a trick out of the ol’ moto theft handbook, an 18-year-old construction worker stands accused of making off with a friend’s motorbike after “borrowing” it.

Police say the worker told his friend on Thursday that he was going to use his bike to buy a bowl of noodles for lunch in Kandal province.

He didn’t return and the friend filed a complaint to police, who arrested the man on Friday on his way to Phnom Penh, where he was planning to sell the bike. NOKORWAT
