Absentminded motodop duped by thirsty rider

A motodop in Phnom Penh’s Choam Chao commune fell victim to an opportunistic fare on Monday.

Police said the man was taking his passenger to buy some spare moto parts when the passenger asked the motodop to stop and buy him some water.

The motodop dismounted to comply with the instruction – leaving his key in the ignition – only to turn around to find his bike gone, leaving him with little to do besides file a police complaint and wait for word.
