Accidental beatdown fails to sate suspect

A case of mistaken identity left a 25-year-old construction worker nursing head wounds in Pailin province’s Sala Krao district on Saturday after a man broke into the house where he was resting and – thinking him the target – beat him with a stick.

Realising his mistake, the assailant, 21, was less than repentant, immediately walking to the nearby construction site where his intended victim worked with victim number one and dished out his second pasting of the day. Fellow workers on the site captured the attacker and handed him over to the police, while both victims were sent to hospital. KOH SANTEPHEAP
