Accomplice in moto theft decides to walk

Police charged two men on Monday with stealing a motorbike from a market in Preah Sihanouk’s Prey Nop district.

After being alerted to the crime, police shut down National Road 4, where they stopped two men riding the allegedly stolen vehicle.

One man made a mad dash, while the other was arrested, and confessed he had been en route to sell the bike in Kampong Speu.

The moto is now in police custody as the hunt continues for the escaped accomplice. KOH SANTEPHEAP
