Accomplished moto thief hits a dead end

The run of a prolific motorbike thief came to an end on Friday in the capital’s Dangkor district.

The man had stolen some wheels in Vietnam and headed back to Phnom Penh to find a buyer.

Police, however, sensed something fishy and pounced on the peddler, 26, arresting him as he tried to woo a potential customer.

The thief confessed, telling police he and three accomplices had stolen more than 20 motos in Vietnam over the past few years and sold them in Cambodia. Nokorwat
