A 44-year-old dessert vendor and a male customer were badly injured on Tuesday night when an out-of-control driver careened into them in Chamkarmon district.

The driver, who police believe was intoxicated, ran into the woman’s cart along with nearby table and chairs before coming to a stop after hitting a wall.

The two victims were both sent to hospital, but the driver escaped without being identified. His car has been seized by police. Nokorwat
