Air force man’s dreams shot down by police

A public arrest brought a member of the air force back down to earth in the capital’s Por Sen Chey district on Monday.

Police said a vegetable seller had parked his moto about 30 metres from his stall, only to return to find it stolen.

Police soon found the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces employee delighting in his new ride, which he claimed he just bought from an “unknown” man for only $500.

Police believed it, and sent him to court on charges of receiving stolen property. NOKORWAT
