Already doing time, inmate sticks to crime

Sometimes it pays to think twice – especially if the decision likely involves more jail time. A prisoner in Kampot province faced court again on Tuesday after allegedly stealing another prisoner’s money.

According to a witness, the suspect stole $20 from the victim, who received the money during a family visit, police said. A day after the visit, the victim couldn’t locate the money. The suspect was fingered and sent to court. KOH SANTEPHEAP
