Angry mob ruins purse snatcher’s evening

If you're a criminal in the Kingdom, sometimes the cops are the least of your worries. A man, 22, was beaten up for allegedly snatching a woman’s purse in a Sihanoukville market on Tuesday.

The woman, 18, told police she was crossing the street on her way to the night market when the suspect snatched her bag as he rode his motorbike.

She shouted for help, and the crowd cornered him, beating him up badly. Police sent him to hospital before detention. KOH SANTEPHEAP
