The art of moto theft has gone to the dogs

A husband-and-wife duo with a penchant for moto theft with a side order of pooch poisoning were caught out trying to flog a stolen moto in Battambang on Monday.

Police accused the lovebirds of poisoning the dog of a Pursat province villager three days previously to ensure a silent getaway after stealing his moto, before nipping north to sell their illicitly acquired goods at market.

The husband and wife –aged 39 and 29 respectively – have been sent to provincial court.
