Attacker figures age is nothing but a number

A 77-year-old man was forced to go on the defensive Wednesday in Svay Rieng’s Kampong Ro district following a vicious attack by his brother-in-law over a property dispute.

According to police, the victim had rebuilt a fence around his land when the suspect, 45, claimed it was infringing on his property. An argument broke out, and the suspect attacked the victim with a blunt object.

The victim was knocked unconscious. He was hospitalised for his injuries. The suspect was brought in for police questioning. Koh Santepheap
