Backseat driver better than backseat stabber

An unsuspecting motodop in Kampot on Tuesday was offered the kind of tip no one wants – that of a robber’s knife.

The moto driver was giving a 35-year-old man a ride when the alleged thief pulled out a knife and demanded he stop.

The driver, also 35, complied, but shouted for help after the man drove away on his bike.

Police arrived on scene and chased down the suspect, eventually arresting him and sending him to court. DEUM AMPIL
