Bad cop beat up woman who owed him money

A police officer, 41, found himself on the receiving end of the law yesterday when he was arrested for allegedly beating a woman in Kampong Speu’s Samrong town.

According to the police, the victim had borrowed an unknown sum of money from the suspect and was planning on paying up, but not while at a wedding.

The impatient cop drove to the party with his wife and punched and kicked the woman to the point of hospitalisation.

The cops detained the lout, who confessed, saying he could not control his anger.
