A 30-year-old man was beaten mercilessly and his motorbike stolen on Wednesday in Kratie town by a group of thugs.
Police said that on the day of the incident, the victim stepped out from a pagoda to grab a bite to eat when four men attacked him from behind.
They beat him over the head, causing him to bleed profusely, before escaping on the bike. Police arrived, but were too late.
The victim has been sent to the hospital, and the motive for the attack is unknown.
