Bad-luck burglar gets roughed up in K Cham

A poorly planned burglarly ended nearly as fast as it began on Wednesday in Kampong Cham. Police said a 23-year-old construction worker looking for some fast cash attempted a break-in when he thought his neighbour was out for the night.

Unfortunately for him, the homeowner’s schedule had changed and he came back just in time to spot the burglar. His shouts quickly drew a crowd, which supplied the de rigeur beating. DEUM AMPIL
