Bad marks for driver in hit-and-run on principal

A 70-year-old high school principal was badly injured in an apparent hit-and-run after a trailer truck with a busted tyre careered into his car in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district on Saturday.

The front part of the school administrator’s car was destroyed, severely wounding him. The truck driver fled the scene, leaving his vehicle behind and causing an hourlong traffic jam. Police are looking for the driver. Koh Santepheap
