Bad parking leads to worse crash in capital

A plumber may have felt he was about to spring a leak as he raced home along a dark street on Monday after a night of heavy drinking in Phnom Penh’s Russey Keo district.

To his misfortune, a careless truck driver had parked right in his path, leading the 31-year-old to smash head-first into the vehicle, leaving him with critical injuries.

He was rushed to hospital. Police said some of the blame lies with the truck driver, who may now face questioning. NOKORWAT
