Bag snatchers prove to be more than meets eye

Two would-be bag snatchers made an unlucky swipe on Monday when they were pursued by the incensed victim.

According to police, a woman was riding her moto to work in Phnom Penh’s Tuol Kork district when two men grabbed her bag.

The getaway failed when the woman chased them in return, screaming, “snatchers, snatchers”. Police intervened and returned the woman’s bag.

They also seized the suspects’ motorbike, in which $95 and three packages of methamphetamine were found. Kampuchea Thmey
